The percent of India's area in each drought class, every week from July 2021 to the present. This stacked-area chart is drawn live from India_Drought_Area_Timeseries.txt.

Reading the chart

Each coloured band is the share of the country in that drought class for a given week (D0 abnormally dry through D4 exceptional). The pre-monsoon peaks and post-monsoon recovery repeat each year; wider dark-red bands mark the most severe, widespread drought weeks.
